Dimex Import & Export International LLC was founded on February 15, 2011 with the primary objective of importing and exporting to the Central America market some of the industry's leading brands of medical equipment for use in hospitals, medical centers, and also systems of home-care facilities with complication risk diseases, as well as the commercialization and distribution of pharmaceuticals in Central America.
Dimex Import & Export International is a bold endeavor by "Grupo Americana" to expand its business beyond the Honduran market, by supplying products manufactured in South America and Europe to the Central America region. Grupo Americana is synonymous with prosperity and professional ethics in Honduras. It is made up of four companies with a strong heritage and a track record of growth. Drogueria Americana, Dimex Medica, Representaciones Americana, and Laboratorio Americana are these companies.
Dimex Import & Export International, LLC is a critical component of Grupo Americana, first serving as a support firm for Dimex Medica as it pursues its goal of increasing market share in Honduras. Additionally, Dimex Import & Export International, LLC plays a permanent leadership role in Grupo Americana's growth, assisting in the strengthening and consolidation of the company's image and business relationships with our suppliers.

Our Beginnings
Dimex Import & Export in the beginning focusing on the commercialization and distribution of pharmaceuticals since this industry is one of the current target services that our Group is offering in Honduras where we are developing our own brand with pharmaceuticals manufactured by Wexford Laboratories, a US Corporation.
